About A Night In Texas

Brisbane has been home to A Night in Texas since 2013, though the Australian deathcore band began in Cairns, Queensland, in 2009. Its current line-up brings together vocalist Sam Cameron, guitarists Cory Judd and Tommy Williams, bassist David Finlay and drummer Chris Whitbread. Across several changes of vocalist and drummer, the group has kept to the heavy, punishing style of its genre while building four studio albums, an EP, a split and a demo.

A 2010 demo drew the attention of Skull and Bones Records, and the debut EP Invigoration arrived in May 2013. The God Delusion followed on 13 February 2015, and the 2016 split Unholy Alliance, shared with Canadian band AngelMaker, included "Mortal Drones", which features guest vocals from AngelMaker's singers. In 2017 they supported Whitechapel on the Mark of the Blade tour in Asia, and Global Slaughter was released in December. After signing with Unique Leader Records, they put out Digital Apocalypse on 2 August 2024, and have announced The Darkest Side of Humanity for 4 September 2026.
