Anders

Anders Ly, who performs under the single name Anders, was born in Mississauga, Ontario, in 1995 to parents of Chinese-Vietnamese descent. Working as a singer, rapper and songwriter, he moves between melody and rhythm with ease, and he has been nominated for a Juno Award twice.

His debut EP, 669, came out in 2017 and was followed by Twos in 2018, both featuring production from FrancisGotHeat and Luca "905LUCA" Polizzi. The hit collaboration "Love No More" with Loud Luxury peaked at number 44 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and spent 20 weeks there. On stage, he gave his first-ever concert in Toronto at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in May 2018, and in August 2019 he played the Osheaga Festival in Montreal. The EPs Chaos and Honest followed in 2021, and his latest single, "Not Impressed", made with Toronto producer Dimi, was released on 5 May 2023.
