About Bella Poarch

Born Belinda Marie Macadengdeng Batumbakal in the Philippines in 1997, Bella Poarch is a Filipino-American singer and social media personality whose route into music ran through a phone screen and a U.S. Navy uniform. She served three years in the service, stationed in Japan and Hawaii, before her videos on TikTok made her the fifth most-followed individual on the platform and the most-followed person from the Philippines.

The breakthrough came in August 2020, when a lip-sync video to Millie B's "M to the B" became the most liked video in TikTok's history. A recording deal with Warner Records followed in May 2021, and her debut single "Build a Bitch", which she linked to being bullied as a child, peaked at 56 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut EP, Dolls, arrived in August 2022, with Grimes featuring on "No Man's Land", and collaborations with Lauv and Kenia OS followed. She later split from Warner and set up her own label, M TO THE BEE, ahead of her first album, Picnic at the Cemetery, announced in May 2026 with the singles "My Boy" and "Stay Gone".
