Benjamin Ingrosso

Ingrosso's path has been unusually varied, moving from child roles in musicals to the Eurovision stage in Lisbon. Born in Danderyd in 1997 to a former dancer turned restaurant owner and a singer-actress, he won the Lilla Melodifestivalen in 2006 with "Hej Sofia" before building a career as a singer, songwriter and record producer. He is a self-taught pianist and guitarist, and his work as a performer runs alongside writing and production.

Ingrosso placed fifth at Melodifestivalen 2017 with "Good Lovin'", then won the contest in 2018 with "Dance You Off", going on to finish seventh in the Eurovision final in Lisbon. His debut album, Identification, arrived in September 2018, followed by the Swedish-language En gång i tiden in January 2021 and the English-language Playlist in June 2022, and in May 2024 he performed as an interval act at Eurovision in Malmö. His fifth studio album, Pink Velvet Theatre, followed in October 2024 and topped the Swedish charts on release.
