About Café del Mundo

Flamenco is a tradition with deep roots, and the German band Café del Mundo has spent nearly two decades working within it. Formed in 2007, the group is rooted in the genre and treats it as a living form rather than a museum piece, a stance visible in a catalogue that stretches from early albums to later symphonic records. For listeners new to the act, the appeal lies in that steady dialogue between tradition and reinvention.

The release sequence begins with La Perla in 2014, followed by Dance of Joy in 2015 and Beloved Europa in 2018. Famous Tracks arrived in 2019 and Winterhauch in 2020, after which the band returned with Guitarevolution Symphonic in 2025. Recent years have brought Sofa Songs, Symphonic and GuitaRize the World - Best of Café del Mundo, all released in 2026, the last a best-of collection drawn from the group's work.
