The Covasettes

The Covasettes have been working out of Manchester since 2016, building a catalogue in short, deliberate bursts rather than one big opening statement. The band's core line-up is Matthew Buckley, Chris Buxton, Matt Hewlett and Jamie McIntyre, and the group has made its case through a steady run of compact releases. Their story is one of patient accumulation, with each release sitting alongside the last and rewarding anyone who follows from the start.

Their releases began in 2019 with two EPs, Like You and It's Always Sunny Above the Clouds, followed by Be Mine in 2020 and The Cova Guide to Sunset Vibes in 2021. What's Lost Is Ours to Find arrived as another EP in 2023, and the band's only full-length so far, Honeymoon Forever, came in 2026. Lizzie Wenninger joined the line-up the same year, and the album stands as the latest entry in a discography that is still growing.
