Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay built their profile on two voices and a pen. Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, who write as well as sing, are the American pair signed to Warner Records Nashville. They have released six albums and nine singles, and their collaborations stretch from Justin Bieber and Charlie Puth to Lindsey Stirling, RaeLynn and Kelly Clarkson.

The two met in Nashville, Tennessee, in December 2012 at a party at Smyers's house, and began writing the following day. Their debut album, Where It All Began, came out on 1 April 2014, led by the single "19 You + Me", and "Nothin' Like You" reached number one on the Country Airplay chart in December 2015. Obsessed followed in June 2016, and the self-titled 2018 album produced "Tequila", their highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100, which reached the top 40. The duo won Grammys for "Tequila", "Speechless" and "10,000 Hours", the last a collaboration with Justin Bieber that debuted at number 4 on the Hot 100. Their fourth album, Good Things, arrived on 13 August 2021.
