About Danny Worsnop

Few frontmen have moved between metalcore and classic rock with Danny Worsnop's ease. Born in Beverley and raised in the village of Gilberdyke, the English singer is best known as the voice of Asking Alexandria and We Are Harlot, and he works in both screaming and clean registers. Loudwire's Jake Richardson called him a metalcore vocalist who carries himself like a classic rock frontman.

Asking Alexandria was formed by Ben Bruce in Dubai in 2006 and reassembled in Nottingham with musicians from the York area. Their debut, Stand Up and Scream, appeared in 2009 and charted in the US, while From Death to Destiny in 2013 reached 28 in the UK and became the band's most commercially successful release. Worsnop left in January 2015 to focus on We Are Harlot and rejoined in October 2016. His solo album The Long Road Home arrived in 2017, followed by Shades of Blue on Sumerian Records in 2019, then the singles "Another You" and "Happy".
