Eve

Before he was a recording artist with a major label behind him, Eve was a teenager singing covers on Niconico, the Japanese video-sharing service, where his first upload appeared in October 2009. That grounding in the utaite scene shows in his work: a Vocaloid producer and singer-songwriter whose music has been shaped by pop culture, films among them. His songs have become theme tunes for a run of anime, from Dororo and Jujutsu Kaisen to Chainsaw Man and The Apothecary Diaries.

His debut album, Wonder Word, came out in August 2014, and Official Number in 2016 was his first charting album, reaching 35 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Signing to Toy's Factory in 2019 marked his major debut with Otogi, which peaked at 6 on Oricon. Smile followed in February 2020 as his most successful album by chart position, and Kaizin arrived in 2022. In 2024 he made his first Asia tour, Eve Asia Tour 2024 Culture, starting in Hong Kong, and released Under Blue that November.
