About The Flatliners
Few Canadian punk groups have spent as long building a reputation from the ground up as The Flatliners, who emerged from Richmond Hill, Ontario, and have grown into a steady presence in the Toronto punk and ska scene. Their records have been consistently well received, and their live shows carry the sort of momentum that comes from years on the road. Mixing punk rock with ska was there from the start, and that blend of bright hooks and blunt force is what sets them apart.
Their debut, Destroy to Create, came out in 2005 on their own terms before Stomp Records reissued it that July. Fat Wreck Chords signed them in April 2007, and The Great Awake followed that September. Years of touring took them alongside NOFX, No Use for a Name and the Dropkick Murphys, and Cavalcade in April 2010 drew rave reviews from numerous critics. Dead Language earned a 2014 Juno Award nomination for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year, and in December 2025 they signed with Equal Vision Records. Their latest album, Cold World, arrived in 2026.
