About Fuerza Regida

Fuerza Regida show how a regional Mexican band can keep its roots and still sound current. Formed in San Bernardino, California, in 2015, the group began as a cover band before writing its own material in norteño style. They have since folded in other forms, most notably corridos tumbados, for which they are considered one of the pioneering groups. Jesús Ortíz Paz leads on vocals, with Samuel Jáimez on twelve-string guitar, Khrystian Ramos on rhythm guitar, José "Pelón" García on tuba and Moisés López on tololoche.

Their breakthrough came in 2018 with "Radicamos en South Central", which spread on YouTube and led to a deal with Lumbre Music. Debut studio album Del Barrio Hasta Aquí (2019) and Adicto (2020) both reached number one on the Regional Mexican Albums chart. Their songs "Bebe Dame", "Harley Quinn" and "Marlboro Rojo" have charted on the US Billboard Hot 100, and the band has earned four Billboard Music Awards and 11 Billboard Latin Music Awards. More recently, Pero No Te Enamores (2024) turned towards EDM and other dance genres.
