About The Ghost Inside

Few American metalcore bands have had a story as turbulent as The Ghost Inside. Formed in 2004 in El Segundo, California, under the name A Dying Dream, the group has since released six studio albums, and Jonathan Vigil is the last remaining original member. Today he is joined by guitarists Zach Johnson and Chris Davis, bassist Jim Riley and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk.

Their first EP, Now or Never, came out on Frontline Records before Mediaskare Records reissued it, and the full-length Fury and the Fallen Ones followed. Returners arrived in June 2010, and in January 2012 the band signed to Epitaph. Get What You Give, produced by A Day to Remember's Jeremy McKinnon, debuted at No. 88 on the Billboard 200, and Dear Youth reached No. 63 in November 2014. In November 2015 their tour bus collided head-on with a tractor-trailer near El Paso, Texas; both drivers died, and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk lost a leg. The band returned with a Los Angeles show at The Shrine in July 2019, released their self-titled album in June 2020, and issued Searching for Solace in April 2024.
