About Gracie Abrams
Few songwriters of her generation arrive with as much visible family history as Gracie Abrams, yet the American singer-songwriter has built her reputation on intimate, confessional songs rather than on her name. Born in Los Angeles in 1999 and raised in Pacific Palisades, she began writing songs at eight, long before her 2019 signing to Interscope Records. Her early EPs, Minor and This Is What It Feels Like, won her recognition on spare, direct songs that sound like private diary entries set to melody.
Her debut album, Good Riddance, arrived in February 2023 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. That year a remix of Noah Kahan's "Everywhere, Everything" gave her a first Hot 100 entry, and she joined the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Her second album, The Secret of Us, debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 in 2024, and "That's So True" reached number four on the Billboard Global 200. Her duet with Taylor Swift, "Us", earned a Grammy nomination, and in 2025 she won the American Music Award for New Artist of the Year. Her acting debut in the A24 film Please has been announced.
