About Haley Reinhart
From a third-place finish on the tenth season of American Idol to a voice role in an animated comedy, Haley Reinhart's career has taken several turns. Born in Wheeling, Illinois, in 1990, she grew up singing with her parents' band Midnight, which played rock from the 1960s and 1970s. Jazz took hold at Wheeling High School, where she became the first permanent singer in the school's jazz band, and she later studied the form at Harper College.
Reinhart signed with Interscope Records in July 2011. Her debut album, Listen Up!, followed in May 2012, and she subsequently became the first American Idol alumna to perform at Lollapalooza. Her profile widened in 2015 through touring with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, where a jazz cover of Radiohead's "Creep" spent 58 weeks on Billboard's Jazz Digital Songs chart. Later that year, her take on Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love", heard in an Extra Gum commercial, went viral. Her third album, What's That Sound?, followed in 2017 on Concord Records.
