Jill Andrews

Few singer-songwriters have had their work surface in as many places as Jill Andrews. A song she co-wrote became the theme for Wynonna Earp, another turned up in Teen Wolf and The Originals, and "Rust or Gold" landed in Grey's Anatomy and Beauty & the Beast. Born in 1980 and based in Nashville, Tennessee, she began writing at 19, and her sound grows from indie folk and alt-country roots.

She co-founded The Everybodyfields in 2004 and stepped away in 2009, then released a self-titled six-song EP that October, recorded live to 8-track in Scott Minor's home studio. Her first solo album, The Mirror, was funded through a Kickstarter that raised over $12,000 from 279 backers. The War Inside followed in September 2015, featuring Seth Avett of The Avett Brothers on "I'm So in Love With You". Hush Kids, her duo with Peter Groenwald formed in 2018, issued Weatherman in 2021, and Modern Age, her fifth studio album, arrived in 2023.
