About Lambrini Girls
Lambrini Girls take their name from a cheap perry marketed at what the Financial Times once called the undiscriminating female drinker, and the Brighton punk group have spent the years since turning that joke into a sharp critique of everything around it. Lunny and Macieira-Boşgelmez now make up the line-up, their songs tackling catcalling, lad culture and toxic masculinity with a deliberately messy, guitar-driven bite that one critic likened to The Strokes.
Their debut single, "Homewrecker", appeared in 2021, and a signing to Big Scary Monsters followed a showcase at The Great Escape Festival. The EP You're Welcome, released in May 2023 and reviewed positively by DIY among others, grew out of singles like "Help Me I'm Gay" and "White Van", and reached No. 29 on the Official Record Store Chart. "God's Country" charted at No. 9 on the Official Vinyl Singles Chart in February 2024, and the debut album Who Let the Dogs Out arrived in January 2025, entering the UK Albums Chart at No. 16.
