About Landmarq

Few neo-prog acts from Britain have built a catalogue as steadily as Landmarq, whose ten albums since 1990 include four captured live at concerts across the UK and mainland Europe. Their work sits mainly within progressive rock, though it also leans toward album-oriented, melodic and hard rock, with a faint jazz colour running beneath the surface. Their reach has extended well beyond their home ground, drawing listeners through magazine features, interviews, radio play and compilation discs.

Vocalist Damian Wilson departed after three albums to pursue a solo career, and Ian 'Moon' Gould spent a year with the group, playing gigs in Britain and the Netherlands before moving on. The band then changed course, recruiting Tracy Hitchings, a longtime friend who had previously sung with Quasar. Concerts have taken them through the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland, Italy, the US and Mexico, and they have worked with Marillion, Focus, Steve Hackett and Suzi Quatro. After an enforced hiatus, they returned in 2012 with Entertaining Angels, a special edition double CD, followed by the Angels On Tour dates. Their March 2006 DVD, Turbulence – Live In Poland, was filmed in Katowice in 2005.
