Lauren Ash

Lauren Ash is a Canadian actress, comedian, writer and, more recently, musician whose career started in sketch and improv. A Second City Toronto Mainstage alumna and half of the sketch duo Cory!, she is best known to television viewers as Dina Fox on the NBC sitcom Superstore, a role she played from 2015 to 2021 and for which she also wrote an episode. Her music began in 2023 with two singles, and she has described her style as early-2000s pop-punk, or, in her words, what you would get if Gwen Stefani fronted Blink-182.

Her acting awards include two Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Improviser, in 2006 and 2007, and a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Spun Out. She voiced Scorpia in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and starred in the Netflix series Chicago Party Aunt. Her music has continued with the Sad This Christmas EP in October 2023, and singles including Whiplash, which was nominated for Best Rock/Pop Song at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards in 2025. A debut album followed in September 2025, with a tour planned.
