About Lee Burridge

Lee Burridge's path to the decks ran through some unlikely places, and the detour shaped everything that followed. Born in November 1968, the British DJ and producer became a fixture of Hong Kong's underground club scene during the 1990s, helping to establish Neptune's, a popular nightspot. On his return to England he joined Tyrant, the collective alongside Craig Richards and Sasha, and he has regularly performed at Burning Man in the United States.

The story starts in Eype, Dorset, where he first played at his parents' bar, The New Inn, in December 1983. A residency at The Palace in Somerset followed, and in 1991 he took a full-time DJ post in Hong Kong at Joe Banana's. In 2011 he founded the All Day I Dream imprint after a rooftop party in Brooklyn, and it grew into a worldwide annual touring festival of daytime parties. He appeared on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix in 2015 and 2019, and in 2021 launched the off-shoot label All Day I Dream in Waves.
