About Lilly Wood and the Prick

Few French duos have travelled as far on the strength of one remix as Lilly Wood and the Prick. Nili Hadida and Benjamin Cotto make French folk-pop, having met in a Parisian café in 2006 and decided to write songs together. They are best known for "Prayer in C", which German DJ Robin Schulz reworked into a European success.

The duo's early work included a cover of Santigold's "L.E.S. Artistes" and the 2009 EP Lilly Who and the What?, released on Choke Industry, a label co-founded by guitarist Pierre Guimard. Their debut album, Invincible Friends, came out in May 2010, and in 2011 they won the revelation of the public award at the Victoires de la Musique before playing the Olympia in Paris. The Fight followed in 2012, and Shadows in 2016, alongside "Box of Noise" and a studio session of "Kokomo". In 2020 they returned with the ballad "Lonely Life" and announced Most Anything, described as experimental, with new rhythms.
