About Mae Muller

A demo recorded for a bottle of wine was the unlikely starting point for Mae Muller's career. Born in Kentish Town, north London, she draws on Gwen Stefani, Lily Allen and Florence and the Machine, and her songs sit where pop hooks meet a songwriter's candour. After a SoundCloud upload in 2017 and an Instagram video of her singing, she was signed by a manager, and her early EPs, After Hours and Frankly, followed in 2018.

Her breakthrough came in 2021 with 'Better Days', a collaboration with Neiked and Polo G that peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 32 in the UK. She then represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool with 'I Wrote a Song', finishing 25th with 24 points, and released her debut studio album, Sorry I'm Late, that September. After leaving Capitol Records in early 2024 she went independent, releasing the EP My Island in July 2025. In April 2026 she signed with Tenance Records and released 'Tell You That'.
