Ocean Wisdom

Few rappers have made speed their calling card quite like Ocean Wisdom, the Camden-born MC whose debut single became known for its delivery. Born in 1993, he spent part of his teenage years in Brighton, where he attended the fee-paying Brighton College before returning to his hometown of Camden Town. His sound rests on that rapid, precise delivery, which is why the speed of his early work drew attention.

Debut single 'Walkin'' arrived in 2014 on High Focus Records, and its 4.45 words per second outpaced Eminem's 4.31 on 'Rap God'. The EP Splittin' the Racket followed in August 2015, then Chaos '93 in February 2016, produced entirely by Dirty Dike and reaching number 10 on the iTunes album chart. Wizville (February 2018) peaked at number 39 in the UK Albums Chart, featuring Method Man, Rodney P, Dizzee Rascal and Roots Manuva; its track 'Tom & Jerry' later appeared on FIFA 19. In March 2019 he founded Beyond Measure with Warner Music, and in March 2021 released Stay Sane with Maverick Sabre, Novelist and Kojey Radical.
