About Oxide and Neutrino

Few London garage acts have drawn on as much unexpected material as Oxide and Neutrino. The English DJ and MC duo, Alex Rivers (Oxide) and Mark Osei-tutu (Neutrino), built their sound on UK garage and folded in television theme music and dialogue from a 1998 crime film. They are also members of So Solid Crew.

Their first single, "Bound 4 da Reload (Casualty)", entered the UK Singles Chart at the top in April 2000, sampling the BBC's Casualty theme and ITV's The Bill. "Shoot to Kill" was heard from car stereos in Ali G Indahouse. Oxide also produced for Lisa Maffia's debut album First Lady. The duo returned in 2007 with the single "What R U" and the album 2nd Chance. In 2013 they appeared in the documentary Rewind 4Ever, and in January 2021 they signed with New State Music, releasing "Where Do We Go" featuring Leo the Lion.
