About Palace

Few London alternative rock bands have reworked their line-up as openly as Palace, and the group's identity has been shaped as much by those changes as by its records. Described as a British act from London, the band took shape in September 2012 as a four-piece, and it has since put five full-length studio albums on record. Its story is one of steady, deliberate growth rather than a single breakthrough.

Palace began with EPs, Lost in the Night and then Chase The Light in 2015, before the debut album So Long Forever arrived in 2016. Will Dorey left in 2017 to concentrate on his own project, Skinshape, and the band carried on as a trio after Harry Deacon joined on bass in 2018. Life After followed in 2019, Shoals in January 2022 and Ultrasound in April 2024, with Ox arriving after a gap of just over two years. Along the way the band has headlined tours across the world and played Glastonbury in 2016 and 2019, as well as Coachella in 2024.
