About Paleface Swiss

Blending deathcore, hardcore, nu metal and thrash into something heavy enough to rattle a room, Paleface Swiss have built a following from Zürich since forming in 2017. Critics have filed their music under beatdown hardcore, deathcore and nu metal, but the band steers clear of any single subgenre, and that fluidity is precisely what makes them hard to pin down. Their touchstones run from Slipknot and Korn to Bullet for My Valentine, Trivium, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.

The band's debut EP, Chapter 1: From the Gallows, appeared in 2018, followed by Chapter 2: Witch King in 2019. A third EP was due in 2020, but the pandemic delayed it, and the material came out instead as a full-length debut album. Fear & Dagger followed in 2022, the same year the group began playing live. In 2023 they became Paleface Swiss, as another artist already used the name Paleface, and released singles including "Best Before: Death" and "Please End Me". Metal Hammer credited 2024 as their breakout year, and Cursed arrived on 3 January 2025, followed by The Wilted EP on 2 January 2026 via Blood Blast Distribution.
