Parlor Greens

Few bands can point to the exact moment they came into being, but Parlor Greens can. Their first session at the Colemine studio in Loveland, Ohio, produced "West Memphis", a jam that grew out of a guitar riff from Jimmy James, turned into a melody from him, and gathered a blistering organ stab from Adam Scone and a loose boogaloo beat from Tim Carman. The three are seasoned players, each with other projects behind them, and the result is a funky instrumental record that sounds like a band being born in real time.

Jimmy James also plays in True Loves, Adam Scone in the Scone Cash Players and Sugarman 3, and Tim Carman in GA-20 and the Tim Carman Trio. Their releases so far include In Green We Dream, a 2024 album, and Emeralds, dated 2026. For listeners who already follow any of those projects, Parlor Greens offers a chance to hear the three of them together in a new setting.
