Pye Corner Audio

Martin Jenkins is the figure behind Pye Corner Audio, a British electronic project that works as a single, focused outlet for his music rather than a conventional band. Its catalogue is worth following closely, because the project has moved between self-release and established labels while keeping a consistent identity. Its releases are easy to follow across different labels, which makes the catalogue rewarding to explore.

The project's early material appears on the Black Mill Tapes, with Vols 1–2 and Vols 3–4 first self-released before Type Records issued them. In 2012 the album Sleep Games came out through the Ghost Box label. The sequence of releases shows how the project moved from self-released tapes to releases on established labels. Jenkins has also supported the Scottish band Mogwai, contributing a remix to their 2014 EP Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1.
