About Raleigh Ritchie
Raleigh Ritchie is the musical alias of Jacob Anderson, a Bristol-born performer best known as Grey Worm in Game of Thrones and as Louis de Pointe du Lac in Interview with the Vampire. His songs sit in soul and trip hop, with Erykah Badu, David Bowie, Jill Scott, The Smiths and Stevie Wonder among his influences. He writes to get things off his chest and process his emotions, then lets go once a track is released.
Signed to Columbia in 2013, he released the free EP The Middle Child, then Black and Blue in 2014. MJ Cole remixed its track 'Stronger Than Ever' for a March single that reached number 30 on the UK Singles Chart that June. His debut album, You're a Man Now, Boy, arrived in February 2016 and charted at number 32; a year later he appeared on Stormzy's Gang Signs & Prayer, on 'Don't Cry For Me'. Andy followed in June 2020 on Alacran Records. In July 2024 came Dead Ends and Diversions, a 13-track EP of songs that never made an album plus recordings from his O2 Arena live-stream, backed by two sold-out nights at Outernet London.
