About Sasha Keable
Raised on soul and hip hop, Sasha Keable grew up with a British father and a Colombian mother, and her listening took in Donny Hathaway, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Lauryn Hill. That wide appetite surfaces in her songwriting and arrangements, which she describes as constantly evolving. A BRIT School graduate, she signed to Disturbing London, the independent label founded by Tinie Tempah.
In 2013 she featured on Disclosure's single "Voices", which she also co-wrote, and toured with the duo around the UK. That year she played London's Wireless Festival and appeared on DJ Zinc's summer house track "Only for Tonight". In 2014 she supported Katy B on her UK tour and released Lemongrass and Limeleaves, a four-track follow-up to her 2013 EP Black Book, both issued through Disturbing London. Her seven-track EP Intermission arrived in 2021 with "Killing Me", a collaboration with Jorja Smith. Her latest run, from 2024, brought "Hold Up", "Auction" with Destin Conrad and "Take Your Time" featuring 6lack, and she is now working on a debut album with Dev Hynes.
