The Sherlocks

Before they had released a record, The Sherlocks had already built a devoted following. The English indie rock band comes from Bolton upon Dearne in South Yorkshire and is built around brothers Kiaran and Brandon Crook, with Alex Procter and Trent Jackson. Their following grew fast enough that they became the first unsigned band since The Arctic Monkeys to sell out The Leadmill in Sheffield.

Their first single, "Live for the Moment", came out in 2014, and by 2016 they had played SXSW in Austin, Texas, and supported The Libertines on an arena tour. "Will You Be There?" entered the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart at number 1 in January 2017, and "Was It Really Worth It?" later topped the same chart. Their debut album, also called Live for the Moment, arrived in August 2017, followed by Under Your Sky in 2019. When the Davidson brothers left in 2020, Procter and Jackson joined, and World I Understand, produced by Dave Eringa, followed in 2021. People Like Me and You came in 2023 on their own Teddyboy Records, and Everything Must Make Sense in February 2025.
