About Simon Kvamm

Few Danish performers move as easily between television comedy and the rock stage as Simon Kvamm. A founding member of Nephew, he sang lead vocals and played guitar and keyboards in the band, and his acting in Drengene fra Angora made him a familiar face across Denmark. He also forms half of the pop duo De Eneste To with Peter Sommer, and he is now lead singer of Hugorm, formed in Klitmøller in 2017 with Arní Bergmann and Morten Gorm.

Nephew, formed in Aarhus in 1996, broke through in 2004 with the album USADSB, and hits such as Superliga, En Wannabe Darth Vader and Movie Klip brought the band several GAFFA awards. Hugorm's first EP, Folk skal bare holde deres kæft, came out in 2020, followed by the album Kom vi flygter later that year, then Tro, Hug & Kærlighed in October 2022 and Drømmehug in October 2024. Their major arena tour that year ended at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen on 22 November, and it is the band's biggest indoor tour to date.
