SUNSHINE BENZI

Sunshine Benzi has been active since 2002, working from Pontiac across freestyle, hip hop and R&B. Those three genres sit close together in the act's music, and the combination is what defines its place on this page. Freestyle's rhythmic immediacy and the conversational pull of hip hop meet the vocal focus of R&B, giving the act a sound that moves easily between styles. Further details on releases, collaborations and live work would help readers trace how that sound has developed over the years.
