TTSSFU

Before she released anything under her own name, Tasmin Nicole Stephens was the guitarist in the band Duvet. Born in 2003 and raised in Wigan, she is now based in Manchester and works as TTSSFU, drawing on shoegaze and dream pop to make music that is hazy at the edges but precise at the core. Her guitar sits at the centre of the sound, and it is the clearest sign of where her songs come from.

Under the TTSSFU name she released the lead single "I Hope You Die" in December 2023, followed in February 2024 by the mini-album Me, Jed and Andy on Fear of Missing Out Records. Its title and inspiration come from the relationship between Andy Warhol and Jed Johnson. That summer she supported Mannequin Pussy on tour. She signed to Partisan Records in October 2024, with "Studio 54" as her debut for the label, and in August 2025 she put out a second mini-album, Blown. The single "Upstairs" followed in November 2025.
