Volatile Ways

Volatile Ways are a hardcore band from Newcastle, Australia, working in the beatdown style, a form built on weighty grooves and crushing breakdowns made for the live room. Formed in 2019, the group has been anchored by vocalist Emilly Beekmans and bassist and vocalist Lewy Glass, who have been there since the beginning and remain the constants in a line-up that has changed over time.

Their earliest listed release is the EP Condemned To Life, Burdened To Death, issued in 2020, while guitarist Jordan Glass and drummer Sam McCloud were still in the band; both left in 2021. Brock King on guitar and Jonah Sheehan on drums joined in 2022, completing the line-up as it stands today. The group then issued the album Compendium in 2023, and most recently released the album Perfect Dark in 2025, the latest entry in their catalogue.
