About The Warning
Few bands have an origin story quite like The Warning's, a rock trio of sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Daniela plays guitar and sings, Paulina drums, and Alejandra bass, and all three trained on piano from an early age. Their sound grows out of the rock songs they learned to play as children, and it has taken them far beyond their home city.
Their breakthrough arrived in 2014, when a YouTube video of them performing Metallica's "Enter Sandman", filmed while they were aged nine to fourteen, went viral and passed 26 million views. Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett singled out Paulina's playing. In 2021 they recorded their own take on the song with Alessia Cara for The Metallica Blacklist, and it later featured in Marvel's Midnight Suns. Their 2024 album Keep Me Fed followed a run of singles and European and Japanese tours. In 2026 the single "Kerosene" reached number one on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, making them the first all-women band and the first Mexican band to top it.
