About Yll Limani

Yll Limani's public debut came in 2011 on the first season of The Voice of Albania, a starting point for a Kosovan singer and songwriter whose work has since spread across performing, collaborating and writing for others. Born on 24 September 1994 in Pristina, into an Albanian family, he grew up close to music: his father, Mufail Limani, was a member of the Albanian band Minatori. An appearance at the ninth Top Fest followed in 2012.

His first lead single, "Single", featuring the Kosovo-Albanian rapper Gent Fatali, arrived in January 2015. Its follow-up, "Pritëm se po vi", entered Albania's Top 100 in July 2016 and peaked within the top three. Selected for Festivali i Këngës in December 2016, he finished third with "Shiu", which peaked at number 34 the following March. A second number-one came in July 2019 with "Nuk po kalojka". In 2021 he featured with Elvana Gjata on "E di", which spent three consecutive weeks at number one, and his debut EP, Lshoja zanin, arrived that December. Recent singles include "Ulu", "Kaje" with Dafina Zeqiri and "Spiti" with Sidatra.
