Zara Larsson

Zara Larsson first came to wide attention at ten, when she won the 2008 series of Talang, the Swedish version of Got Talent. Born in Solna in December 1997 and raised south of Stockholm, she has built a career around dance-pop, citing Whitney Houston and Carola Häggkvist as early influences, and once saying she wanted to become as enduring as Elvis Presley.

Her debut EP, Introducing, arrived in 2013 and was led by "Uncover", which went to number one in Sweden and Norway. Her breakthrough came with the 2017 album So Good, whose lead single "Lush Life" became one of the decade's best-selling songs in the United Kingdom. She later landed her first UK number one as a featured artist on Clean Bandit's "Symphony", and Poster Girl (2021) extended her European success. Midnight Sun, released in 2025 to widespread critical acclaim, produced a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording, and the year after, her collaboration with PinkPantheress, "Stateside + Zara Larsson", topped the Billboard Global 200.
