Shah Rukh Khan announces UNIFYD festival in Abu Dhabi with Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla, Sonu Nigam
The one-day festival is set for 20 March 2027 and will feature more than 15 artists across multiple stages. Tickets go on sale via the District app from 19 October 2026.

Shah Rukh Khan has announced UNIFYD, a one-day music festival to be held in Abu Dhabi on 20 March 2027. Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam are on the bill for its inaugural edition, The Hindu reports.
According to a press release cited by the newspaper, more than 15 artists will perform across multiple stages. The festival is billed as a large-scale international event with high production values. The release describes it as an experience rooted in Indian music and culture, aimed at audiences from India, the Middle East and the wider global South Asian community.
What Khan and the organisers say
In a statement quoted by The Hindu, Khan linked the festival to his work in cinema: “I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power.” He added that UNIFYD “will unite India’s most incredible artists on a shared stage for the first time.”
Bunty Singh, co-founder of D’YAVOL Live, framed the festival as a response to the reach of Indian music abroad.
“Indian music is already global. UNIFYD gives that cultural force a festival platform that matches its scale, ambition and influence.”
Singh also said that bringing artists of this stature together on one day, in a lineup that “has never existed before”, is what makes the first edition special.
Producers and partners
UNIFYD is produced by D’YAVOL Live and District. It is presented in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, and in association with Emirates NBD.
