About Bath Forum
Bath Forum opened in 1934 as an art deco cinema, and its Grade II* listing, granted in 1986, recognises the building's architecture. The films stopped in 1969, and the building then served as a dancing school, a bingo hall and a church before settling into its current use. With 1,600 seats in the main auditorium, it is the largest event venue in the city, hosting concerts and stand-up comedy.
The programme leans towards pop and rock, with 32 upcoming shows listed, six of them in the next 30 days. Soonest on the bill are Tony Blackburn, Thank You for the Music, The Australian Pink Floyd Show, Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, and The Amy Winehouse Band, with Alison Moyet, Del Amitri and Level 42 also coming up. Shows usually start around 19:30.
