About Blackpool North Pier
Blackpool North Pier is the northernmost of the resort's three seaside piers, and the oldest and longest of them. It started life in the 1860s as a simple promenade, but rivals along the coast pushed it to add theatres and bars. Where its neighbours leaned towards open-air dancing and amusements, North Pier aimed for a more genteel audience, with orchestral concerts and respectable comics. For a long time it was also the only one of the town's piers to charge admission, a practice it kept until 2011.
The programme currently shows one upcoming show at the pier, with none scheduled in the next 30 days. The venue has also hosted one festival date. Styles, named acts, start times, prices and age policy are not given for this venue yet, so it is worth checking the details of any event before booking.
