About Blackpool Winter Gardens

The Winter Gardens is a large entertainment complex in Blackpool, housing a theatre, a ballroom and conference facilities. It opened in 1878 and its building holds a Grade II* listing, a high level of protection for its architecture. Blackpool Entertainment Company runs it on behalf of Blackpool Council, which bought the property from Leisure Parcs in 2010 in a £40 million deal.

Currently the programme leans towards rock and pop, with three upcoming shows listed, one of them in the next 30 days. Happy Mondays are the soonest headliners, with Blackpool: Indie By The Sea also on the bill, and the venue has hosted one festival date.
