About Congress Theatre

The Congress Theatre in Eastbourne was built from the ground up as a theatre and conference space, and it is Grade II* listed. With 1,689 seats, it ranks among the biggest theatres in southern England. It stages touring West End productions, ballet, opera, comedy and live music. A 2019 refurbishment gave the room a brighter, more contemporary feel while keeping the character of its original design intact.

Pop and rock dominate the current programme, with eight upcoming shows listed and one due in the next 30 days. Headliners include The Australian Pink Floyd Show, Michael Starring Ben, Whitney Queen of the Night, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells Live in Concert, 10cc, Allstars: The Music of ABBA and What's Love Got to Do With It - Tina Turner Tribute. Shows usually start around 19:30.
