Dingwalls sits beside Camden Lock in Camden, London, a former industrial Victorian building that found a new purpose in the twentieth century as a venue for live music and comedy. It takes its name from T.E. Dingwall, the building's first owner, whose name was painted on the outside wall in the late Victorian manner common among Camden Town businesses. The lettering is still visible today.
