The Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith opened in 1932 as a cinema called the Gaumont Palace, and it is still commonly known by its older name, the Hammersmith Odeon. The building is an art deco design and is Grade II* listed, which gives it a distinctive period character. The Eventim name comes from a sponsorship arrangement, so you may see both titles used.
