Exchange is a music venue in the Old Market area of Bristol, in South West England, and it is run by its community. It was the first venue of its kind in the city to be owned in this way, which makes it a useful place to see how Bristol's live music can be organised. From the start, local ownership has shaped the room that gig-goers step into.
The programme leans towards rock, indie and alternative, with pop also on the bill.
