About Harewood House

Harewood House is a country house in Harewood, West Yorkshire, designed by John Carr and Robert Adam and built between 1759 and 1771 for Edwin Lascelles, the 1st Baron Harewood. He was a wealthy West Indian plantation and slave owner, and that history is part of the house's story. The grounds, laid out by Lancelot "Capability" Brown, cover around 1,000 acres, and together the architecture and parkland make it a striking setting.

On the programme side, the listings currently show one upcoming show, with none in the next 30 days, and the venue has hosted one festival date. Details on styles, start times, prices and age policy are not given here, so check the event listing before booking.
