About Jannus Live

Jannus Live is an open-air courtyard venue in the Downtown St. Petersburg Historic District, Florida. It takes its name from the pilot Tony Jannus and was founded in 1984. After a renovation under new ownership, it reopened in March 2010. The room is known for its standing-only layout, with no outside seating permitted inside, and local and mainstream acts have played to a standing crowd here. Creative Loafing gave it awards in 2010.
