About KOKO

KOKO is a concert venue in Camden Town, London, housed in a former theatre that opened in 1900 as The Camden Theatre. Over the decades the building passed through several uses, becoming a variety theatre, then a cinema, and later a BBC facility after the Second World War. It stood empty for a time before reopening in 1977 as The Music Machine, and it was renamed the Camden Palace in 1982 before taking on its current name.

The programme leans towards pop, rock, and electronic and dance acts, with 24 upcoming shows listed, 10 of them in the next 30 days. Coming up soon are Nectar Woode, GoldFord, Chameleons, Allie X, Basht., Isaiah Falls, Ole 60 and Damien Dempsey. Shows usually start around 19:00, and the most common age policy is 14+.
