About Maddermarket Theatre

Tucked away in St John's Alley in Norwich, the Maddermarket Theatre was founded in 1921 by Nugent Monck. Its home stands right beside Strangers' Hall, so visitors arriving for a show can wander over to Strangers' Hall before the curtain rises. It suits anyone who enjoys Norwich's streets as much as its stage.
