About Mercury Lounge
Tucked onto Manhattan's Lower East Side, the Mercury Lounge is a small room with a capacity of 250, built on good acoustics and a stripped-back approach to rock and roll. It has helped nurture and launch up-and-coming artists, and has featured on numerous top-ten lists, Billboard's among them. The room also sits within the wider story of New York's rock scene, the subject of a scholarly account published in 2020.
Three shows are currently listed over the next 30 days, headlined by Elizabeth Nichols, Chandler and Center Mid, soonest first. Shows usually start around 18:00, and the most common age policy is 18+. Expect a close, unfussy night of rock, with the sound doing much of the work.
Coming up: Elizabeth Nichols · Chandler · Center Mid · Dashboard Confessional
